The Italian qualification race for the first-ever Baja Endurance Challenge Finals was held on 29 June in the countryside of Reggio Emilia. Although there was huge amounts of dust and temperatures at 35 degrees, everyone had a great time racing their Baja buggies around the a famous Barcooff 1/8 scale track!
After a practice period, three heats of qualifying were arranged to determine the starting grid for the final, which was divided into an A Final and B Final. The final races were 35 minutes long, and the Baja buggy really proved how tough it is! Only a couple of parts were broken among all the cars that were racing, so the drivers were very happy with the performance and durability of the Baja.
