The readers of the most popular German RC car magazine "amt - auto model + technik" have again voted for HPI's Savage RTR as: "Car of the year 2005" The winner of 2004, HPI Savage has proved yet again as the most popular and favourite car in the nitro off road category. This success follows a long history of HPI cars in the amt awards. Since 2000 HPI has had one of their cars in the Top 3.

As this is an award decided by the readers, HPI is very proud of the tribute paid to the Savage by the German readers. It also reflects a great success of LRP-Electronic, the German HPI distributor, in promoting and supplying HPI cars in Germany and Austria. All cars tested by amt in the last year have been competing for the title with the HPI Savage 25 RTR grabbing the honours in the nitro off road category with a huge gap over second place. HPI want to thank all German readers of the amt magazine for this award!
