Iceland Hill Climb 2012!

Thu, 27th September 2012

Every year for the past several years, the speed-crazy residents of Iceland gather at a gravel quarry near their capitol city of Reykjavik to take part in some of the wildest, roost-throwing, hill climbing action you can find for miles around!

Organized and sponsored by the Icelandic HPI distributors based in Reykjavik, the annual hillclimb challenge has become a part of the local RC scene, with competitors creating setups and custom HPI Savage monster trucks in order to conquer the massive gravel heaps and tricky climbing courses! This year featured both a wide variety of specialized vehicles in both nitro and electric classes to tackle the challenging gravel mounds, but once again it was Savage monster trucks that won both classes!
